Description
I have owned this car for 8+ years & in that time it has been very reliable. I have maintained it with regular servicing & any repairs being carried out by a specialist MG Technician in Dandenong. The car is always garaged, is in regular use & is in near original condition with original tool kit. Complete spare windscreen, some other parts & several tech. books supplied with the car. Two-tone British racing green/sage green now in two pack paint & this is a genuine colour scheme for these cars. New battery about 18 months ago & always kept charged. Near new cross ply tyres. Starts well, never missing a beat. History says this car was manufactured May/June 1949, imported new to Australia via Brisbane on 15th August 1949 & first registered on 27th August 1949. Original rego was BV 192. Reluctant sale due to desire to change MG model. Currently on Club Permit & not transferable - 49105H.
Due to old English cars having a reputation to drop oil, I had an oil pan fitted to this car soon after purchasing. It is removed & cleaned when serviced, always with little oil in it.
As a result, I never have to clean up my garage floor. One image is attached, more available & can be emailed.
